Firebird, is a deep fuchsia shade with a hint of purple, creating the perfect bold lip for me. Creamy in formulation but once applied to the lips it gives a satin, semi-matte finish without any dryness. It almost feels like you are not wearing anything on the lips at all, a great indication that the staying power is going to be decent. Whilst this formula doesn’t last all day, it did last around 5-6 hours on me before it needed topping up.
Wonderland, a pinky-red cream that I found to be tackier and harder to apply to get a smooth outline. Again, great pigmentation and this one lasted around the 5 hour mark on my lips before needing to be reapplied. This is however just one of those shades that after first impressions, I’m not sold on it, I just can’t quite make my mind up whether I like the colour or not.
Ex-Girlfriend, a beautiful sheer nude with pink shimmer that is the perfect everyday nude giving you a ‘your lips but better’ look. It looks and feels like a gloss but without the stickiness. Due to it’s sheer formulation, it’s not as highly pigmented as the others, but I personally like the subtle hint of colour that it gives. It’s staying power isn’t great, like with most sheer lipsticks, it only last a few hours on my lips so it will need reapplying throughout the day.
For the more pigmented shades, you may want to purchase the matching lip liner too. This will allow you to create a smoother outline, but also to enhance the staying power by filling in your lips with these first, then applying the lipstick on top.
