Christmas Gifting Ideas at Boots

[pipdig_padded_text]Christmas in September? Yes I said it, THAT c-word is back! It feels like we no sooner wave goodbye to summer and the countdown to Christmas immediately begins. I usually get so excited by Christmas and can't wait for the countdown to begin, but this year I've found myself desperately trying to hang onto summer for as long as I can. But, if we are going to start thinking about Christmas in September then it all has to start with Boots.

Boots at Christmas is a very special time…picking up their Christmas catalogue and waiting for the beautiful displays to launch in-store just gets me in the festive mood. So when I got the invite to their Christmas Press Event to preview their gifting ideas, I was thrilled. Having been desperately hanging onto summer by arriving at the event dressed completely for the wrong weather, I am now fully in the festive mood - already gift planning and dreaming of cosy duvet days with the fam. Thank you Boots for that festive feeling! I have to say this year I am beyond excited to see their festive lineup arrive in stores and you should be you too, there are some real treats![/pipdig_padded_text]

Soap and Glory

[pipdig_padded_text]When it comes to Boots at Christmas, I immediately gravitate towards Soap and Glory, they're bath and body products are a favourite of mine, not forgetting their fun and quirky packaging makes the products much more special. I'm quite the fan of their Sugar Crush range but what caught my eye this year is a stunning Make-Up Starter Kit, £50 – it includes a bit of everything from eyes, brows, highlight and their cult classic sexy mother pucker glosses too – perfect for the girl who adores their bath products but is yet to try their make-up.[/pipdig_padded_text]

Ted Baker

The luxe rose gold packaging is stunning, need I say?! It’s Charlotte Tilbury meets Tom Ford, giving us a collection that exudes elegance and sophistication, but at a much more affordable price. It’s perfect for those who love a little indulgence in glamour. The Ted Baker Lips and Tips Gift Set, £50 is just a dream for any woman like me that doesn’t feel complete until she has a fresh manicure and a wash of colour to her lips. With six nail polishes and six lipsticks beautifully presented in a Charlotte Tilbury inspired box with rose gold detailing, it’s truly the gift that keeps on giving. But if that’s a little much on the pricey side for you and a stocking filler is all you need, then Ted Baker has you covered too. With a Trio of Lip Balms, £12, a beautiful rose gold Compact Mirror, £10 and those Little Luxuries, £10 for that manicure prep: a hand cream and nail file, there is plenty to choose from.

Reiss

A brand that was new to Boots last year, Reiss have really stepped up their game…the packaging – OH EM GEE, it’s marble! I just can’t get enough of the marble trend but what Reiss have really done well here is use a white marble print for the gifts for her, and a black marble print for the gifts for him. It’s all in those little details. I must say though that the products look equally as luxurious. The Lip and Cheek Tints, £16 and the Illuminating Bronzer, £12 will make for beautiful stocking fillers. But if you want to go all out, then the Ladies Luxury Collection IIII, £45 is to die for, with six bath and body products it’s the perfect excuse for a pamper day – Body Cleanser, Bath Oil, Polishing Scrub, Body Souffle…it sounds divine. If you are buying for him then there’s the Men’s Luxury Collection III, £35 as well as a Washbag, £25 and a Travel Grooming Kit, £10 too.

Sleek

This one is a new and exclusive to Boots for 2016 which is so exciting as Sleek is a budget beauty brand that I think has a lot of people lusting over. The Sleek Makeup Box of Tricks Ultimate Makeup Haul, £45 has everything you could possibly need from the brand, including that certain Solstice Highlighting Palette that everyone has gone crazy for this year! You can also grab this highlighter palette in the Highlighting and Lip Kit Set, £10 which also includes their Matte Me Lip Cream in ‘Birthday Suit’.

Beauty Advent Calendars

[pipdig_padded_text] For those who prefer Beauty Advent Calendars to the chocolate kind (or both!), Boots brings you a number to choose from, including: No.7 Advent Calendar, £39 (worth £151.95), Jack Wills: Skincare, Nails and Hair Advent Calendar at £35, Sanctuary Spa for £25...but the one that I am most excited for is from NYX…yes, NYX! One of the highlights of this year has to be the rollout of NYX into Boots stores, so I’m sure this one will be rather popular. The NYX Advent Calendar, £60 is priced higher than the others so I am hoping that the products inside are worth it, but just judging on the packaging – a Professional MUA’s trunk – I have high hopes!

Let’s not forget those little details too, and for the first time ever, Boots are including two brand new services to make the idea of gift giving even more special: Personalised Engraving and Gift Wrap Services. To make a gift even more special and unique, you can add any engraving to products such as Perfumes, Make up Brushes and Make up Palettes for just £3. Once your gift is personalised, you can also get it gift wrapped from as little as £4.

You can shop these gifting ideas and more in-store and online at Boots from October. Happy Shopping! [/pipdig_padded_text]
